The Lowertown Market Fair is an indoor artisan market celebrating local makers, artists and food vendors. Visitors can browse a curated selection of handmade goods, enjoy delicious local treats, and discover unique products from talented small businesses, all while experiencing the warmth and spirit of the community.

We are currently seeking a mix of artisans, makers, food & drink vendors and a food truck offering products that visitors can enjoy while exploring the market or take home with them.

**As this market is intended for local artists and makers, we will not be accepting any direct sales, MLMs or resellers.

Where: Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts, 310 St. Patrick St, Ottawa
Times:     Setup: 9am-10:50am,          Market Sale: 11am-4pm,          Tear Down: 4pm-5:30pm

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• No vendors are to arrive before 9am.
• You must have your vendor space set up by 10:50am.
• No vendor teardowns will be permitted before 4pm.
• All products offered for sale must be family friendly and free of offensive language or imagery.

VENDOR APPLICATION PROCESS:  

The Handmade Harvest Market is a JURIED EVENT, meaning vendor applications will be carefully reviewed and selected based on quality, fit and presentation. THE VENDOR FORM WILL CLOSE ON AUGUST 16, 2026.After the form closes, applicants will be reviewed by our jury.‍ ‍*ONLY ACCEPTED VENDORS WILL BE CONTACTED.* 

Once your application is reviewed and you are accepted, you will receive a confirmation email from Ottawa Markets Collective with the invoice for the vendor fee. 

Please ensure that ottawa.markets.collective@ottawamarketscollective.ca is in your address book so that our emails don’t end up in the spam/junk folder.

TABLE & CHAIR REQUIREMENTS:

‍• Chairs & tables are the vendor's responsibility. These will NOT be provided.
• Table linens are mandatory.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

‍• Vendor Liability Insurance

‍‍• Vendor spotlight for every vendor on social media
• Wifi

FOOD VENDORS

‍All food vendors participating in this event are required to meet all local health, safety and licensing requirements as set by the City of Ottawa and Ottawa Public Health.

‍Vendors must hold valid permits and certifications for food handling, preparation and sales, and provide copies upon request before the event. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable bylaws, fire safety standards and inspection requirements.

VENDOR PAYMENT AGREEMENT:

The vendor fee is non-refundable if a cancellation is made within 2 weeks before the market date.

‍Payment should be made via Interact e-Transfer to: ottawa.markets.collective@ottawamarketscollective.ca within 7 days of being accepted as a vendor. ‍‍Make sure you use this email address and no other when making the payment.

If payment has not been received within the 7 days, your vendor spot will be forfeited.

CONDITIONS:

‍• Ottawa Markets Collective (OMC) is not responsible if the weather or other conditions preventing a vendor from attending the event.
• Bookings and credits are non-transferable between vendors.
‍• All vendors are expected to refrain from engaging in ANY abusive behaviour towards ANY person during the event.

**Ottawa Markets Collective supports community initiatives and will collect non-perishable food donations for the Shepherds of Good Hope and the Lowertown Community Resource Centre de ressources communautaires de la Basse-Ville.
